We have used the company that originally installed our heating and air conditioning system for some 15 years, both for semi-annual service and for upgrading our systems. In the recent past we have replaced both the external and internal units on our two HVAC systems with newer, energy efficient units. We have been very pleased with the service and the results of the work by Northern Virginia Air Conditioning Inc. (NVAC, 7644-D Fullerton Road, Springfield VA 22153, 703-569-6822, www.nvac4u.com).

Over 17 years we have used three different servicers. Over the past 8or so years we have used Cropp Metcalf and have always been satisfied. At one rountine visit the technicial told us one heating unit was operating at about 60-70% efficiency and suggested replacing it. The Supervisor made an appointment to discuss options and basically talked us out of buying a new unit: "you are on the Gold Plan-when it goes we can replace it the next day so why do it now"

The AC went out on both of our heat pumps. A recommendation from a friend in the area was Air Treatment Company Vienna, VA 703-270-0881 Air-Treatment.com They promptly came for diagnostics and gave us an estimate. They were professional both in the initial visit and during the time of the repairs. The price was reasonable and they cleaned up afterwards. We highly recommend their services.
